Brian Koning has more than 30 years experience leading and managing marketing, advertising, sales and public relations projects. Upon earning his B.A. degree in Corporate Communication from Purdue University in 1986, Brian worked for NCR Corporation in Dayton, Ohio as a Technical Marketing Manager overseeing a technical documentation and marketing department. In 1988, Brian left NCR Corporation to launch a small advertising agency in Dayton. In 1990, Brian sold his agency and moved back to Lafayette, Indiana with his wife and newborn daughter where he joined a mid-sized marketing agency as a copy writer and account executive. That job led to several more opportunities including marketing manager for an IT firm and a Swiss-based manufacturing company, marketing director for a venture-funded technology start-up, marketing vice president for large regional bank, and marketing consultant for several more businesses across a variety of industries. Most recently, Brian owned and operated a fitness studio in Westfield, Indiana for nine years handling all business operations including marketing, advertising, and sales using both traditional marketing tactics as well as extensive digital marketing and social media.

Besides enduring a 30+ year career in marketing, Brian is a Christian, husband, and father. He and is wife, Doreen, reside in Carmel, Indiana. Together, they have three grown children (Kaitlin, Karli and Kyler). Brian is active in his church as a volunteer and a worship musician. Brian is an accomplished singer and guitarist and can be found on weekends around central Indiana performing solo acoustic gigs at restaurants, bars, brew pubs, wineries and special events. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.A. degree in Corporate Communication and minors in advertising and English. He’s an avid Purdue, Colts, Pacers and Chicago White Sox fan.
